UFO vs. Northrop Grumman Military Drone

The truth is out there.

Being a Maryland resident, I saw the buzz on Facebook about a UFO spotted barreling down a highway in Southern Maryland towards PAX Naval Base a few nights ago. There’s a quite humorous video that caught an eyewitness account on tape in all its vulgar glory.

Here’s a transcript of what went down on this dark road in the middle of the night on December 19th :

“Military vehicles? What the hell is going down this road? Something huge. Holy shit…(what) the fuck is that? What the fuck is that!? Looks like a god damn UFO! What the fuck is that? Holy shit! What the hell is that? Holy shit! What the fuck?”

He’s a man of a few words.

I’m not going to lie, the video does show a UFO looking object being driven down the road by military vehicles and police escort.  Extra-terrestrial? Highly unlikely, but it does stir up the imagination.  I’d like to think life in the universe exists besides here on Earth, it would be naïve not to. However, I doubt ET was vacationing in Southern Maryland in the middle of December.  I would think, and really hope, the military would find a less obvious way to transfer alien crafts across the United States.

Northrop Grumman has come forward and claimed that the UFO is actually a X-47B Military drone.  The strange appearance of the mysterious craft was due to the wings being removed, and the fuselage being covered in a tarp to make the trek across country.  The drone was spotted in various locations from its travel between California’s Edwards Air Force Base to Patuxent River, Maryland, convincing many they’ve seen a UFO.  Roads were blocked off due to the sheer size of the drone, and this caused the suspicious middle of the night transports as well as sightings in broad daylight.  Even if it was an actual alien UFO, I doubt the military would tell the truth to the public.   It would probably make more sense to hide it in plain view and call it a “drone”.

I’d hate to say it, but it was a military drone.  However, my inner alien believer wishes that it was an extra-terrestrial craft.  Too bad. That would of made for a more impressive story.
